About Me!

I’m Madi — I am a hardworking twenty-two-year-old trying to expand one of my passions into a career.

I got into photography during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. There was nothing else to do besides practice taking photos of my sister and my friends in lockdown. I have been doing ‘professional’ photography for about three years now and I just finished my second year of shooting weddings this year in 2024. I am really happy with where I’m at and how much I have been improving!

I went to Cloquet High School, and graduated during COVID-19, in 2020. Not exactly an ideal situation for us, but I had a great group of seniors by my side. I then went on to do nursing, which I quickly realized was NOT my path. That led me to just do my generals at Lake Superior College, and I graduated there with an Associate’s Degree of Arts.

Right now, I am a full-time waitress at Carmen’s Bar & Restaurant, trying to do photography on my days off and transfer into doing it full-time eventually. I am mostly there on weeknights & most weekends if I’m not shooting photos.

I currently live in Duluth, MN! In my free time, outside of the madness, I spend it with my friends and family. My favorite color is light pink and my favorite season is fall! I am a Minnesota Vikings fan, even though they didn’t even make it to the playoffs last year. I have more hope for this year.

Thanks for reading about me, and I look forward to getting to know all of you! :)
